At roughly 8:30 AM on Sqaq San Vinċenz in Żabbar, the man accessed the roof of an adjacent, abandoned residence. The roof collapsed under his weight, resulting in serious injuries.
The Malta Police received the report within minutes. Officers found him conscious but seriously injured, with Civil Protection Department paramedics and a medical team already providing first aid. Transport to Mater Dei Hospital followed by ambulance. Investigators from the Occupational Health and Safety Authority (OHSA) and the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) arrived to assess the scene.
