The Malta Police Force confirmed that the incident occurred around noon on Friday when a concrete mixer operated by a 25-year-old driver from Marsascala was reversing onto Valley Road. Dashcam footage examined by investigators shows the cyclist striking the vehicle's rear end, apparently unable to brake in time.
